I'm an LCSW providing trauma and codependency counseling and hypnotherapy in Asheville, NC. My former experience as a psychiatric nurse gives me a unique perspective that includes knowledge of physical as well as psychological conditions and challenges.
I specialize in treating trauma, including sexual and physical abuse, domestic violence and accidents, co-dependency, depression, and grief. My counseling practice is easily accessible, with free parking, very close to the Montford St. Exit ( 4C ) on 240.
I would describe myself as an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques, such as EMDR, Hypnosis, and relaxation training to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Using compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
